TEXAS ADAPTIVE AQUATICS (T.A.A.) Incorporated in the State of Texas as a Non-Profit Sports Training Program
"It Ain't 'Bragging' If You Can Do It."
TEXAS ADAPTIVE AQUATICS (T.A.A.) features an outstanding adaptive water skiing program that allows people with physical and/or mental disabilities the opportunity to discover the thrill and excitement of water skiing, sailing, and kayaking. T.A.A. founded in 1989 and incorporated in the State of Texas in 1990, is a non-profit sports training program for children and adults with disabilities.
T.A.A. is the leader in teaching techniques for disabled skiers. Our aim is to continue to help improve the skiing ability and skills of our participants so they can enjoy skiing away from the clinics with their family and friends.
Our programs are available to only physically and/or mentally challenged individuals or groups with the desire to learn how to water ski for the first time, or to rediscover an activity thought to have been lost due to an accident or injury.
All equipment is supplied by TEXAS ADAPTIVE AQUATICS, INC. and is acquired solely through donations by individuals, and/or corporations.
Water skiing instruction programs are available at all levels from beginners to international competitors. Special sessions are held in specific areas such as slalom, jumping, tricks and tournament practice.
T.A.A. provides water skiing clinics throughout the United States, and reaches hundreds of disabled persons each year.
Our skiers are given the chance to escape the confines of their wheelchair and feel the excitement of a challenging sport.
The Instructors and Volunteers of T.A.A. are members of USA Water Ski and are trained to meet or exceed water safety standards. Our experts are continually improving equipment and training methods. T.A.A. is a non-profit sports training program based in Houston, Texas.
We guarantee that skiers will be in the company of a great team of friendly, enthusiastic qualified instructors and trainers.
Instructors are available from entry through advanced levels at your lake or our base of operation at 'Lake Houston'. Instructor workshops are also available.
From beginner to expert, TEXAS ADAPTIVE AQUATICS, INC. water skiing program has something to offer every skier.
Over 15,000 disabled citizens across the country have participated in T.A.A. programs throughout the years.
